Social contribution for Rio de Janeiro

In 2016, Rio de Janeiro hosted the world with its renowned color and excitement. At the heart of it all where the people who give the city life. That’s why OMEGA was dedicated to give them something back.

With just 12 months until the Olympic Games begin, OMEGA was marking the official countdown with their support of 12 "Social Action" projects within the host city. In partnership with the charity Viva Rio, the monthly projects have been planned to directly improve community spaces and education centers around Rio de Janeiro - and aim to help thousands of young people and their families. By focusing on this demographic, the overall result will be one of long-term impact. From the earliest stages of a child's life, it will plant the seeds for a better future and create a legacy that will continue long after the Games have finished.

Designing for a good cause

BUERGY was commissioned to create a logo, concept and the microsite's design which promoted the activities. During one year, a new project was revealed each month and promoted through social media.
