Visiting this website
When you open a page, your browser sends technical data to our hosting provider: IP address, date and time, the page requested, referrer, browser and operating system. This data is used only to deliver the website and to keep it secure, and is not kept longer than needed for that purpose. The website is hosted by MADLAB Publishing (madpublishing.ch).
Getting in touch
If you write or call, we process the details you share (name, email address, phone number, content of your message) to answer you and, where relevant, to prepare or carry out a project. We keep this data as long as needed for that purpose or as required by law.
Third-party services
Some content on this website is loaded from other providers. When that happens, your browser connects to their servers, which receive at least your IP address.
Fonts. Typefaces are delivered by Hoefler&Co. / Monotype (cloud.typography.com) and Adobe Fonts (use.typekit.net). Both providers may process data in the USA.
Videos. Videos are embedded from YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC), in privacy-enhanced mode where available. When you play a video, Google may set cookies and process usage data, including in the USA.
Google tag. Pages load Google’s gtag.js script. The analytics property it refers to has been discontinued by Google and no longer records visits; loading the script still transmits your IP address to Google.
Leadfeeder. Pages still load a script by Dealfront (Leadfeeder), Finland, left over from an earlier setup. The service is no longer used and its data is not evaluated. The script will be removed with the next version of this website.
Links. Links to Instagram or Google Maps only transfer data to those providers when you click them.
Transfers abroad
Some of the providers above process data outside Switzerland, including in the USA. Where the destination country does not offer adequate protection, transfers rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies of its own. The third-party services described above may do so. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you, and request that it be corrected or deleted. You can also object to its processing. Write to fabian@buergy.co. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you are in the EU, with your local supervisory authority.
Changes
We update this policy when the website or the services it uses change. The current version is always on this page.
