Interactive Projection
An interactive exhibition design using projection mapping and touchscreen to visualise 30 years of urban development.
An exhibition-design which provides information in a targeted manner to a broad public - and turns knowledge into a tangible experience at the same time.
Initiated by the Municipality of Murten, the exhibition and interactive installation around a large scale relief shows different facets of the region from the last 30 years. The exhibit consists of one large scale relief, projection mapping technology, a touchscreen-panel and a TV-screen to provide further information about each selected story. Visitors are prompted to navigate using the touchscreen where they explore three different information clusters; namely “Historical Stories”, “Growth” and “Visions from the past”.
Showcasing 30 years of change
By navigating through the Interface, visitors can actively interact and steer the display of different contents such as the urban development of the city during the last years, historical stories from the region, the road-net spanning the area and many more.
The visual UI-Design goes hand-in-hand with the concept of the exhibition. The entire look and feel is based on a Polygonal structure covered with black textiles.
